It all started here. Ma Mulstay's lemonade shake-up stands are the heart and soul of Brafford's Concessions — the reason this family has been at the Iowa State Fair for over 75 years. Fresh-squeezed lemons, ice-cold water, and the signature shake-up method that makes every cup a little different and a lot delicious.
We run two lemonade stands at the fair, so you're never too far from a cold one on a hot August day.

Burrito Bobo
Fresh. Bold. Built for the Fair.
In 2023, Michael and Edward Brafford took a beautifully renovated concession stand and turned it into something the Iowa State Fair had never quite seen before — Burrito Bobo. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a menu built to satisfy the hungriest fairgoers.
Burrito Bobo is one of the newer additions to the Brafford's family, but it's already earned a loyal following. Look for the renovated stand and the line out front.

Tater Todd & Hot Doug's
Jumbo. Loaded. Unforgettable.
The newest stand in the Brafford's family, Tater Todd & Hot Doug's debuted at the 2024 Iowa State Fair and immediately turned heads. Jumbo Quarter Pound Chili Cheese Hot Dogs that are as eye-catching as they are filling — plus crispy tater tots that are the perfect sidekick.
This stand is a love letter to classic American fair food, dialed up to eleven. Come hungry.
