Five Generations of Fair Food
Since 1948, the Mulstay-Brafford family has been serving up cold lemonade shake-ups, sizzling hot dogs, and fair favorites at the Iowa State Fair.
Since 1948
A Family Tradition
It started with one woman and a lemonade stand. Nettie "Ma" Mulstay began serving fairgoers in 1948, and what she built became a legacy. Five generations later, brothers Michael and Edward Brafford carry that tradition forward — four stands, thousands of loyal customers, and the same love for fair food that Ma Mulstay poured into every glass.
